Why did Nick make a list of all the people who came to Gatsby's?
Why does Nick tell you about all the people who came to Gatsby's that he wrote down?
Why didn't Tom want Myrtle to say Daisy's name?
How did all of Gatsby's family die?
Why did Gatsby get embarrased when Nick introduced him to Tom?
Tom is probably somewhat ashamed for his affair with Myrtle. Myrtle saying Daisy's name outloud is disrespectful to him since he knows he's doing something wrong.
ReplyDeleteOh okay, that does make sense.
Delete5. Gatsby gets embarrased because he is still in love with Daisy and knows that she is now married to Tom.
ReplyDeleteI can see how that would be the case, but Tom doesn't know that Gatsby and Daisy used to be together. At least I don't think he does.
Delete5. He got embarrassed because he felt inferior to tom, the one daisy picked.
ReplyDeleteI don't think thast is the reason because Gatsby had left and it seemed like Daisy was having second thoughts about getting married to Tom after that mysterious letter.
